Arrrrr, like a Pirate

When I was a toddler, I couldn't say the hard "C" sound. This made it hard for me to tell my best friends Carol and Kenny about my new carpet.

Daddy reports that he couldn't say "oy".

Boo's stumble is "ar". She can say "arrrrr" like a pirate, and she can say lots of words with "r" in them, like Strider or rhinocerous. But, in words like park, dark, party, and (interestingly) the alphabet song, "r" comes out as "oy".
