Moolah also got a tinkerbell sleeping bag. Ace wasn't as photogenic with his gifts. Santa brought him hotwheels, which he has driven all over the house. Sometimes the cars get to ride a school bus or a stroller.
"You put this tree way too high for me to reach. What did you expect me to do?"
Christmases past & present. The gingerbread recipe came from Oosje last year. The Bundt pan came from Gigi a couple of Christmases before that. It looked almost (but not quite) too pretty to eat. But, we learned that it is better cooked in boring flat square pans because the outer chewy parts are the best bits.

Thanks for the great pictures. Mama, do you remember your misfit name for a sock monkey? It was way farther off base than "Rudolph" for Moolah's new beautiful doll.
I love the tinkerbelle sleeping bag.
But my favorite picture is the one of Moolah in the battered box. After all is said and done a BOX is often the favorite entertainment piece.
p.s. your new couch looks like it is installed. I don't see sage green anywhere...and nice pillows too
The new couch is installed and a big hit. Kids can run from one end around the corner to the other and pile over the outside. It also makes good forts. We'll get a pic of that next time we set one up.
The pillow you see is actually a bed Santa brought for Strider. We haven't gotten as far as couch pillows yet. We do have one curtain hung downstairs and the other is pinned and ready for a "test hang". It will be up by Moolah's birthday party, which is now scheduled for next Saturday (Jan 3 -- Cousin Sara's BDay).
And, I told Moolah about "Santa Claus" the sock monkey. She said "That's so silly, Mama."
I have to admit that it still makes sense to me. There's some connection between sock monkeys that I can't explain.
