After our trip to the school, we talked a lot about the Sunny State, the Snowy State, and the Rainy State. Airplanes were identified as going to either the Sunny or the Snowy State. It was time for a map. We went to the Learning Palace to get a placemat map. While I was selecting the educational placemats (United States, World, Alphabet), Moolah wandered over to some toys.
"Mama, can I have this?" she said.
I looked up and saw that she was holding a Groovy Girl. Groovy Girls are dolls with hip outfits and fabulous accessories. I've wanted one for years. Moolah hasn't been quite old enough for one. But here she was, actually asking for one. I was very pleased to say yes.
